HESTRA ERGO GRIP TACTILITY GLOVES
I have worn the Hestra Ergo Grip Tactility gloves over the last few months and tested them out in the Welsh summer. As you may know, the Welsh summer can consist of a lot of rain, and this year has been no fail. I have used them on hillwalking days, and light mountaineering days. You can really feel that Hestra have thought long and hard about the Ergo Grip Tactility glove’s design, with its ergonomic construction, reinforcements in the right places, the leather that covers most of the fingers to increase longevity and to reduce wear on the working areas, also it is windproof, and shower resistant.
I took the gloves out in all weathers, and these kept my hands dry during showers. The cuff of these gloves seem to be longer than other brands on the market. Meaning that the sleeve of your Gore-tex jacket actually covers the end the water creeps into, keeping your hands drier for longer.
Like the Hestra Ergo Grip Dexterity gloves, the Ergo Grip Tactility glove has a curved design. This creates less unused space/air pockets in the gloves, which make it feel like a more fitted glove. The leather they have used is a softer leather. Hence it makes everything sensitive to touch (hence the name tactility). It also has been reinforced around the thumb and index finger for the extra wear that may happen when using walking poles, or light rope use.
